We are really excited about this job – we already have a brilliant Education team and have decided to widen the scope of this role to develop our work on engaging with young people.We engage directly with around 14,000 young people each year and our Education team gets fantastic feedback from the schools that come to the National Park and take part in learning outside the classroom with us.Now though, with new national initiatives and additional investment, we have an opportunity to widen our activities and engage with more young people in different ways, as well as through formal education. We are looking for a skilled and inspiring person to lead the team. The role will involve a mix of managing and developing the service we already provide and initiating new opportunities for engaging with more young people in creative and innovative ways.
Salary: £27.4 - £30K with potential progression to £34k

We're looking for someone with practical skills and a cheerful willingness to get ‘stuck in’ to do whatever is needed during our busy times. You will be responsible for the security of the building including opening up by 7.30am each morning, daily checking and refuelling of pool cars and making sure the vehicles are maintained in a clean and tidy condition along with ensuring the general upkeep of the building/car park and grounds. If you are comfortable working on your own or as part of a small team and enjoy dealing with the public, then we would like to hear from you.
Salary: £8.39 - £8.90/hour for 15 hours/week

This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a skilled and experienced mineral planner. Sirius Minerals have planning permission for a world class project to build and operate a new Polyhalite mine at a site near Whitby. Working to the Project Director, you’ll be responsible for leading our input into the development management service that will deal with planning and condition discharge applications, check compliance with plans and manage any issues arising from this. As the lead planner, you’ll need to have some great skills and be able to demonstrate to us your; Experience in dealing with major applications; Ability to deliver on the ground on time and on budget; Experience of working with communities on contentious projects; Enthusiasm for protected landscapes and what makes them special.
Salary: £32 - £36k pa with potential progression to £40k
