All Members of the Authority serve on the Planning Committee.

Its responsibilities include:

  • Determining planning applications
  • Authorising some enforcement action
  • Deciding on the formation and review of planning policies
  • Authorising Tree Preservation Orders

2.Public Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 19 October 2017.

3. Public Minutes of the site visit held on Friday 3 November 2017.

4. Members are reminded that it is their responsibility to declare the nature of any personal, prejudicial and/or discloseable interests  relating  to  any agenda item immediately prior to its consideration and are encouraged to complete a written declaration using the form provided.

5. Emergency Evacuation Procedure – The Chair to inform Members of the Public of the emergency evacuation procedure.

7. Development Plan Annual Monitoring Report 2016-17.

8. To consider applications, together with the Director of Planning recommendations thereon.

1a) NYM/2017/0605/FL - Creation of car park with traffic calming measures to serve existing village centre at land adjacent to Botton Village Store, Botton Village, Danby.

2a) NYM/2017/0440/FL - Construction of an agricultural storage building together with part equestrian stabling (revised scheme to NYM/2013/0404/FL and part retrospective) at Glebe Farm, High Bank, Ampleforth.

3a) NYM/2017/0608/FL - Construction of single storey extensions at 17 Summerfield Lane, Stainsacre.
