£40,000 Makeover for Popular Bridleway Linking Over Silton and Thimbleby
Walkers, cyclists and horse riders on the Over Silton to Thimbleby bridleway can look forward to more beautiful views. The path is set for a £40,000 upgrade only made possible by a £30,000 grant secured by the North York Moors National Park Authority to help improve the bridleway and reduce the visual impact of electricity transmission lines running close to it.

Fun on the farm
Three farms in the North York Moors will be throwing open their gates to visitors on 11 June as part of Open Farm Sunday. Stepney Hill Farm near Scarborough, Botton Social Farm and Stonebeck Gate Farm at Little Fryup, both near Danby, will be highlighting life on a moorland farm and the vital role farmers play in looking after the countryside.
