Welcome! The National Park Education Service offers a wide range of inspiring activities to help children and young people experience, understand and enjoy this very special place.

You come to us 

We provide curriculum-linked activities led by qualified and experienced staff with sessions lasting for a quarter, half, three-quarter or a full day. Activities are based at The Moors National Park Centre at Danby or at other locations within the National Park. Maximum group size is usually about 60 depending on the age of pupils and the type of activity. Costs are from £3.50 to £6.50 per pupil.

We'll come to you

We also provide assemblies and classroom activities in local schools delivered by qualified and experienced National Park staff. Costs range from free up to £100 per session.

Groups with special needs 

We are happy to adapt or develop activities to suit the special needs of groups or individuals wherever possible.
