The North York Moors National Park Authority works to conserve the landscape, culture and wildlife of the area and it provides opportunities for people to enjoy and understand this beautiful place.

Secretary of State Appointments

Defra is currently advertising for two Secretary of State Members for the North York Moors. The closing date for applications is 13 February 2012. The appointments will start in May 2012 and are initially for up to four years with the option of re-appointment for a total period of up to eight years.
