The many miles of country roads, bridleways and forest tracks in the Park offer ideal routes for cyclists of all ages. Mountain Bikes are available for hire from the following outlets but you should phone first to check availability.

Situated right alongside the former Whitby to Scarborough coastal railway and just 2 miles south of Whitby, Trailways offers a fleet of over 100 cycles for hire as well as buggies, tandems and trailer bikes. Hire can be for 2 hours, 4 hours, a day or longer, and delivery, pick up, one way hire is by arrangement. Trailways is open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm/dusk from mid March to end November, winter or other times by arrangement. A selection of suggested shorter cycle routes are also available from Trailways.
