The David Arnold Forster Trust was launched in 2003 in honour of the former Chief Executive of the North York Moors National Park and English Nature.

Throughout his time at the North York Moors and then with English Nature, David worked tirelessly to promote the importance of sustainable upland hill farming and support this critical sector of the farming industry. The Trust was set up in his memory.

Hill Farming Awards

Every year the Trust recognises outstanding contributions to the hill farming industry by farmers and those in the wider community.
