Ethical Framework

The Authority operates within a culture where very high standards of conduct are expected of Members and Officers in undertaking their roles.  This is made explicit in their respective Codes of Conduct plus other formal policies and protocols.  The Authority has adopted Principles of Working which determine the culture of the organisation and describe the way in which it works.  These principles are underpinned by a wide range of policies which demonstrate that the way in which the Authority works and the framework within which decisions are taken are designed to be ethical.  All of these have been drawn together to form the Authority’s Ethical Framework
