The Local Development Framework consists of a number of different documents to guide future development whilst ensuring that the National Park's special qualities are conserved and enhanced.  The Core Strategy and Development Policies is the key document in the Framework and was adopted by the Authority in November 2008.  It supersedes all the policies contained in the former North York Moors Local Plan.
