How can I help farmers?

Help look after the countryside by keeping to the path on farmland  If you are cycling make sure you keep to bridleways

You can help look after the countryside by:

  • Keeping to the path when crossing farmland
  • Leaving gates as you find them
  • Keeping dogs on a lead to avoid disturbing farm animals and ground nesting birds
  • Taking your litter home
  • Taking notice of signs that tell you where you can and can't go
  • Buying food that has been produced locally
