How does the National Park Authority help to look after woodland?

Tree plantingThe National Park Authority helps landowners to look after woodland by giving advice on conservation and woodland management.

The Park Authority also runs woodland schemes through which a landowner can receive a grant or money to help pay for work such as planting new trees or repairing fencing to stop farm animals damaging young trees.
