Inspired Landscape

Sunday 13 May - Tuesday 17 July

An exhibition of new work by five respected artists to mark the diamond anniversary of the North York Moors National Park. William Tillyer, Len Tabner, Peter Hicks, Joe Cornish and Gillies Jones are at the very top of their respective fields with their work featuring in exhibitions all around the world. Linking them all is the North York Moors, the place where they live and are inspired.

Your Place

Saturday 21 July - Sunday 19 August

Inspiring and expressive pieces of art from 60 artists invoking the special qualities of the North York Moors.
Meet the Artists: 21 July, 10am – 5pm with a musical ambience created by harpist Sarah Dean.

 

Like to be part of Your Place?

Are you inspired by the North York Moors? We’re giving arts and crafts people whose work draws on the landscape, wildlife or just the mood of the National Park the chance to raise awareness and sell their artwork during a four week exhibition at our beautiful Inspired by… Gallery.

The gallery is part of The Moors National Park Centre which attracts over 110,000 visitors each year. ‘Your Place’ runs from 21 July to 19 August and will feature exhibits from 60 creatives whose work captures the area’s special qualities. The exhibition is part of the 60th anniversary celebrations for the North York Moors National Park and is supported by a grant from the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
