Are you part of a group who regularly visit the North York Moors? Would you like to help to conserve and enhance the areas you usually walk by? Or are you involved with a charity or group that could benefit from the experience of volunteering?
We are always keen to hear from existing groups who would like to come along and help us to protect this special area.
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities and work with a number of local charities to enable their members to experience the North York Moors, from local walking groups to charities supporting people with mental health issues.
Work tasks in the past have ranged from practical tasks such as habitat management and public rights of way maintenance to producing artwork to display in our National Park Centres and making mosaics to putalong some of our disabled access routes.
