North Sea Trail
Get your walking boots on and try one of 18 exciting walks along the North Sea Trail.
The themed linear and circular walks offer a fantastic opportunity to explore and enjoy the fascinating natural and cultural heritage of the North Yorkshire coast.
Follow a route across farmland from the edge of the moors to the edge of the sea via historic Staithes – where Captain Cook once worked. Or walk to Runswick where almost the entire village slipped into the sea on one dark night.
The North Sea Trail aims to develop walking opportunities around the coast of the North Sea Countries. In the North York Moors, the route follows the coastal section of the Cleveland Way National Trail.
Please visit the North Sea Trail website www.northseatrail.co.uk for more details about the walks, accommodation and getting to the Trail. The site also has information about exciting North Sea Trail events.
