TRADITIONAL ESTATE CRAFT APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITES

Training Allowance £95 per week

The estates in North Yorkshire are custodians of some of England’s finest heritage and they need skilled building and maintenance teams to look after its heritage. This project will preserve the area’s traditional skills by passing them on to young people that have a passion for heritage and are enthusiastic about practical work.

This is an excellent opportunity for young people who:

  • are enthusiastic about the heritage of Northern Yorkshire and want to help to conserve and maintain it
  • enjoy working outside and want to learn practical skills
  • enjoy working as part of a team
  • want to do a NVQ 2 in a building craft
  • have access to transport
  • have 4 Ds at GCSE

The apprenticeship is for an initial period of 24 months. If you think that you fit the bill, we would like to hear from you.
