Policies and Plans

The Authority's Policy Team produces a wide range of documents, which set out polices and strategies for the future of the National Park.

The National Park Management Plan provides the overarching vision for the future of the North York Moors, to be achieved in partnership with all agencies and stakeholders with an interest in the National Park.

The team also produces the North York Moors Local Development Framework which comprises a number of different documents to guide future development in the National Park and ensure that its special qualities are conserved and enhanced.  Further information on the documents making up the Local Development Framework can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
