Recreation and Access Strategy
The Recreation and Access Strategy for the North York Moors National Park was approved by the National Park Authority in September 2008.It sets out how the Authority will seek to manage and develop recreation and access in the National Park and achieve the recreation and access policies contained in the National Park Management Plan.
The Authority engaged independent consultants to develop the strategy who ensured that the views of recreational users and non-users, local people and partner organisations were all taken into account.
The strategy identifies priorities for action and will influence the Authority’s work for the coming ten years.
