The North York Moors National Park contains a rich diversity of landscapes and a wealth of fantastic opportunities for recreation and relaxation.  Visitors make around 10 million day visits to the North York Moors every year and every one of these visits makes an impact on the landscape, the local economy, local people or other visitors. The National Park Authority is keen to promote sustainable tourism by showing how visitors can minimise negative impacts and maximise the positive impacts of their visit.
