Tourist Information Centres are a good place to start exploring the region. The knowledgable and friendly staff are able to provide a full range of services. They can give you information on places to visit and local events, where to stay and public transport.

Services provided may vary from one TIC to the next but they include:

• Leaflets and information on local attractions
• Local crafts and souvenirs for sale
