Village improvements

Village ImprovementThe villages of the National Park are a valuable asset for tourism and are a focus for rural communities. They often contain characteristic features such as ponds, stone trods and sheepfolds which may be in need of restoration or appropriate management. Improvement projects can also help reduce visitor impact.

Small grants and advice are available from the National Park’s Village Improvement Scheme for suitable projects which are supported by the Parish Council.
