Flat green bowling

Helmsley Bowling ClubHelmsley Bowling Club

The aim of the game may be simple, to roll your bowls as close to the 'jack', a small white ball, but it is highly tactical.

Visitors wishing to play on village bowling greens usually need to bring their own bowling shoes, mats and jacks.
