Website standards
www.moors.uk.net is central to the information service provided to the public by the North York Moors National Park Authority. We strive to keep it up to date at all times and welcome feedback from the user. Work is carried out on the website every day during normal office hours. It does not go offline whilst being updated.
The Authority publishes lists of Recent Planning Applications once a week, normally on a Monday. Committee Planning Decisions are published within 2 days of the Planning Committee meetings.
Forum entries are normally authorised within 3 working days and emails sent via the website are responded to within 10 working days.
Orders from the Online Shop are normally despatched within 3 working days.
www.moors.uk.net is hosted by an external provider and occasionally problems may occur which cannot be immediately rectified by the North York Moors National Park Authority. The provider operates a Help Desk for the Authority and responds immediately between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and a Support line email service outside the hours, guaranteeing a response by 10.30am on the next working day.
Where problems occur that require support from back up services, a normal service will be resumed within one hour during normal working hours (9am to 6pm).
Outside normal hours, a normal service will be resumed within 1 working day.
