Which villages are Conservation Areas?

The list below shows the Conservation Areas of the North York Moors and when they were designated.

To discover whether individual properties lie within a Conservation Area you can look at the Core Strategy and Development Policies Proposals Map and Inset Maps on our Development Framework website.

Your Parish Council should have a paper copy or you can look at one at the National Park Office in Helmsley or at The Moors Centre in Danby or at local libraries.
