Work to convert the Old Print Works to the National Park Authority's Depot has now reached practical completion. The asbestos roof and concrete cladding have been replaced, and the building reduced in size at the front to create additional outdoor space.
We expect to begin relocating from our current facility on Sawmill Lane (which is now on the market) over the coming months, subject to final utility connections.
The new depot building will provide valuable facilities, including a tree nursery and dedicated areas to wash and dry equipment. The site operates solely as a garage, store, and workshop, with no office or meeting space.
Preparation works for the new Headquarters site have also been completed, and site hoarding is now in place. Contractors are scheduled to commence groundworks towards the end of May or early June. Following the laying of the concrete foundations, the steel structure will be delivered, at which point the main building will begin to take shape.
