Covid-19 update - Inspired by... gallery is now closed

In line with Government guidance, The Moors National Park Centre and Inspired by... gallery are now closed and will reopen when restrictions are lifted. Further information on available facilities and the latest updates are available on the main National Park Centre page.

We currently have an opportunity for an innovative UK artist to exhibit work as part of the 2022 Dark Skies Festival that reflects the importance of our dark skies and the negative impact of artificial light pollution on the natural world as well as humans’ own wellbeing. Closing date to apply 15 March 2021.

The beautiful Inspired by… gallery at The Moors National Park Centre hosts changing exhibitions of work by artists and makers who draw their inspiration from the landscape, life and colour of the North York Moors.

We have an exciting programme of exhibitions and arts and craft courses every year. Panoramic vistas, seascapes, dramatic photography, unique ceramics, colourful textiles and artist-led courses and talks - what will inspire you today? Talk to your favourite artists or discover new ones at our 'Meet the Artist' preview events. Join us for a drink and nibbles while learning about their work.

Artwork including prints and photography, and artisan crafts, from ironwork to jewellery, are available for sale in the gallery shop and craft area.

The Inspired by... gallery can be found at The Moors National Park Centre, Danby. See Planning your visit for further information on how to get here and opening times, while our Accessibility page gives you detailed information to help when planning your visit.
