There's no denying day-to-day life has become worrying and uncertain. One thing that hasn't changed is the fact you'll feel 100 times better when connecting with nature. You may be lucky enough to access local green spaces or have your own garden. If not, there's still many ways to get your daily dose of the natural world. It's good for the soul and so important to look after your mental wellbeing.

We've come up with ten suggestions to discover the great outdoors, learn new things and even glimpse into another corner of the world.

1. Become a Hedgehog Champion on Hedgehog street. Over 85,000 people have joined to make real difference for hedgehogs all over the country.

2. Adventures for the Soul specialise in yoga, mindfulness, walking and nature experiences. Check out the Wellness Hub currently offering calming online courses designed to soothe, calm your mind and reconnect yourself.

3. Check out our monthly nature calendar offering suggestions on what species to look out for and where. Explore somewhere new on the walk of the month. Get insider tips reading Richard's Baines' blog, he's an expert ecologist from Yorkshire Coast Nature.

4. Learn your species with the Woodland Trust. Check out their A-Z of British trees and Identify Wildlife from mammals and invertebrates to tracks and prints.

5. GetOutside is a fantastic resource from Ordnance Survey and partners. Reap the rewards of outdoor activity by taking on challenges, watch others on adventures around the country or digest the many blogs and create your own bucket list.

6. Follow Yorkshire Coast Nature and discover life through their lens. From extraordinary sightings, to entertaining blogs. There's an array of amazing wildlife and stunning landscapes in the National Park, Yorkshire coast and Yorkshire Wolds.

7. Check out BBC Two's Autumnwatch to watch previous, and record upcoming episodes. Explore their online hub and enjoy stunning short clips from around the country, indulge in interesting blogs and get involved to do your bit at home or whilst out and about.

8. Have a go at forest bathing and start feeling fantastic! Forestry England have lots of tips and activities to get your meditation journey started.

9. Volunteer to be a Citizen Scientist and actively contribute to valuable data. The Countryside Jobs Service has a huge database of exciting projects for all interests including birds, invertebrates and herpetology!

10. #NatureForAll Discovery Zone includes resources to learn, discover and experience nature from around the world, wherever you are.
