Bridleway No 65 and Footpath No 79 Bilsdale Midcable
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended)
The North York Moors National Park Authority made an Order the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parish of Bildsdale Midcable in the District of Hambleton:
No pedestrian, horse-rider or cyclist shall proceed along bridleways No 65 Bilsdale Midcable commencing at the junction of footpath 57 Grid Reference SE
No pedestrian shall proceed along footpath No 79 Bilsdale Midcable commencing at Appletree Hurst Farm Grid Reference SE
No alternative route is offered as both paths are cul de sacs.
The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs at the point of closure and at the end of the paths. The Order is necessary to ensure public safety due to an ongoing policing operation.
By approval of the Secretary of State for Transport on the 3 December 2020 to an extension (ref: NATTRAN/Y&H/TTRO/4978), the Order shall continue in force until 7 June 2021 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
