Date: From 20/01/2022 to 8/08/2022
Order Type: Temporary Closure Order 2022
NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS AND BICYCLES)
Public Bridleway 1 Great & Little Broughton (Broughton Bank)
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended)
The North York Moors National Park Authority has made an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parish of Great & Little Broughton in the District of Hambleton:
No pedestrian, horse rider or cyclist shall proceed along Public Bridleway 1 Great & Little Broughton commencing at NZ
An alternative route is to head west and then south on the forest road (permissive bridleway 1500m) from NZ
The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs at the point of closure and at the end of the paths. The Order is necessary to ensure public safety due to a land slip that has removed part of the bridleway.
By approval of the Secretary of State for Transport on the 20 January 2022 to an extension (ref: NATTRAN/Yorkshire & The Humber/TTRO/5501), the Order shall continue in force until 8 August 2022 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
