Don't forget our monthly farmers' markets for more regular local food fixes and Country Markets (formerly known as WI Markets), while food is integral to the summer's agricultural and country shows too.

Malton held its first Craft Beer Festival in 2014 to mark the craft beer revival, with two microbreweries, Bad Seed Brewery and Brass Castle now brewing their real ales in town. The festival returns in 2020 with even more craft beers, street food and music.

The Cropton Brewery Beer Festival will celebrate its 26th birthday in 2020. Described as legendary by CAMRA, expect live music, loads of homemade food and more than 80 real ales, lagers and traditional ciders.
