Scampston Walled Garden

A stunning modern garden, with striking perennial meadow planting, contemporary waves of grass, traditional spring/autumn borders and something of interest whatever the season. Created by internationally acclaimed designer, Piet Oudolf and described in The Times as 'a gem', every aspect of this garden speaks of quality. The plant sales area specialises in unusual species which, along with an onsite restaurant using ingredients grown in the Walled Garden, makes this a modern plantsman's paradise.

The gardens surrounding Scampston Hall, 19th century rock garden and the Cascade Circuit Walk with children's play area are also open to the public.

Disabled parking adjacent to entrance. Main car park 100m from entrance.

Walled garden: the garden is flat. Paths are rolled gravel, designed to be suitable for wheelchairs.
