Car parks and toilets

Plan ahead. Enjoy our spaces. Share with care.Plan ahead. Enjoy our spaces. Share with care.

The list below shows some of the largest car parks within the National Park to assist with your planning. We have included details of who operates each car park and, if not operated by ourselves, we would recommend that you check the operators' websites for the latest information. Please note this does not include every car park; we will review and add to this page regularly.

We have recently moved to card payment only ticket machines in Authority operated car parks.

Alternatively PayByPhone is available at our car parks (except Chop Gate) and we recommend downloading the app before your visit. If there's no mobile coverage, you can either move to an area with better network coverage and complete your parking transaction or pay by cash. The PayByPhone website has further information and links to download the app.

All the money raised in this car park is spent on looking after the National Park. Thank you for helping others to enjoy their time here.

Please note all toilets operated by North York Moors National Park Authority are open daily 10am-4pm unless otherwise stated below.

If you arrive at any of the following car parks and they look busy, please find an alternative. Remember do not block access for emergency services, local residents or farm vehicles, which can be wide.

Please adhere to any procedures that operators have in place in car parks and toilets. And please be considerate and kind to those whose job it is to keep these facilities clean and safe for you and your loved ones.
