Wendy Tate (Steam Train)
Wendy Tate graduated from Hull University with a BA in Fine Art (2000) and an MA in Painting (2002). Since then she has taught on the BA Fine Art Course for the Grimsby Institute for Further and Higher Education for 13 years, during which she has also run her own workshops, demonstrations and talks. She now runs, in partnership with artist Rob Moore, her own printmaking and painting studios in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Wendy has been a practicing artist for the past 20 years specialising in a poetic depiction of the landscape around her in a variety of media including painting, drawing, print-making, video and photography.
Her work can be found on www.wendytateartist.com
Wendy enjoys nothing more than walking in the countryside, with her camera and sketchbook, capturing its secrets and then proceeding to explore them through a variety of approaches.
