Past, Present, Future

Saturday 9 April to Sunday 22 May
Free entry - Open daily, 10am to 5pm.
To mark 70 years since the North York Moors was designated as a National Park, ‘Past, Present, Future’ exhibition is an inspiring selection of artwork shortlisted for the 2022 North York Moors Art Award.
Over 100 artists, including painters, printmakers and photographers, took part with the task of capturing the striking landscape, wildlife and culture of the National Park, through either its past, present or future.
This collection of work underlines the continued importance of how art and the depiction of landscape still play a significant role in how we relate to the places we live or experience. They are also a platform by which we can record and reflect upon our impact on the land and our environment.
2022 North York Moors Art Award Ceremony
Friday 20 May - 6pm for 6.30pm.
A special event will be held to announce the winners of the 2022 North York Moors Art Award. This includes the winners of the photography, painting, print and young person categories.
