Landscape photographer John Potter captures subtle, transient moments of exquisite light in provocative images inspired by the North York Moors.
John Potter
John Potter, LRPS, B.Ed. (Hons), is a professional landscape and architectural photographer, based in York.
As a Yorkshireman through and through, John finds that the stunningly beautiful and varied landscapes of ‘Godʼs Own Country’ are a constant source of inspiration.
He regularly supplies images for regional and national magazines, including Country Life, Countryfile, Yorkshire Life, Yorkshire Ridings, Dalesman and others. John is the author of more than fifteen regional landscape books, has a successful greetings card range and sells fine art images and wall art.
John also runs landscape photography workshops, and teaches a range of courses and workshops for York City Council and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
