Throughout 2022 we're celebrating 70 years as a National Park and we'd like you to join in! We want to bring together your individual connections to tell one shared story about this special place.

We'd like you to engage your senses to experience the North York Moors, unlike you may have done before. It's really good for us to spend time in nature, to allow moments to tune in and feel grounded. Take the opportunity to immerse yourself and become more mindful to what you're seeing, smelling, listening, feeling or tasting.

What's happening and how you can get involved

Every week, on our social media accounts, we'll suggest how to use one of your senses whilst out and about in the National Park. Give it a go! Perhaps you'll have your own memorable experience. We'd love for you to share that moment with us, either by image or short video (under 5 seconds, landscape format on your phone). Reply on the social media post and use #NorthYorkMoorsSenses. Or email us: senses@northyorkmoors.org.uk

With your permission, we'd like to include some of your contributions to help us create a film. They'll bring together a collection of your adventures, from January to December, to celebrate the sensational North York Moors National Park.
