Marketing and Product Development Executive (9 - 12 month maternity cover)

We are working hard to raise the profile of the North York Moors and need a talented and enthusiastic person to help us. You will need to bring some great experience of using digital media to get your message across – this could be from your work on writing for websites, producing e-newsletters and using social media. Your skills will also mean that you can lead on promoting our fantastic Visitor Centres and events and exhibitions programme. Working with local businesses, you will help them develop new ideas and access money via our Tourism and Local Distinctiveness grants.

Salary:  £26.3k - £29.6k per annum

Communications Officer (12 month maternity cover)

We are looking for a talented communicator to help us promote our work via press, television, radio, film and other channels, and to build our reputation even further as a ‘go to’ organisation for the media. Your experience of dealing with the media and ability to write creative, interesting articles will help us get positive press coverage across a wide range of our activities.

Salary:  £15.3k - £16.9k (22.5 hours / week)

Planning Officer (Development Management)

Our Development Management team is skilled, highly motivated and dedicated to strong customer service.  The team works hard to develop a strong rural economy and community whilst maintaining the distinctiveness of the North York Moors.  We are looking for a Planning Officer to help us to continue this work.

Salary:  £25,295 - £27,905 for 37 hours/week depending on experience

Senior Planning Officer (Enforcement)

Successful enforcement and monitoring is the key to maintaining the credibility of the planning process within the National Park. We aim to be proactive by checking that planning conditions are complied with, as well as reacting to complaints from the public about breaches of planning regulations.You will help to deliver our Planning Enforcement Service as part of a team led by the Enforcement Team Leader in accordance with our Enforcement Charter and policies in order to ensure compliance with the planning decisions of the National Park Authority.

Salary:  £25,295 - £29,636 for 37 hours/week depending on experience
