Thank you for social distancing - COVID-19 updates

The National Park has been here waiting for you and now that restrictions are relaxing, we're delighted to give you a warm welcome. Our car parks and public toilets are open in line with Government guidance.

When you are outside, you can meet in groups of up to six people from different households but you should social distance from anyone you do not live with or is not part of your support bubble. Remember Government recommends that you keep two metres away from people where possible or one metre when you can mitigate the risk by taking other precautions.

If you are thinking of visiting the North York Moors, please follow our guidelines for accessing the National Park responsibly.

On foot, under your own steam, out on the trail... is there any better way to experience the North York Moors than heading out for a walk?

We don't think so, which is why we've put together a fantastic series of downloadable walks covering every corner of the National Park.

Spring daffs in Farndale, the legendary Hole of Horcum, romantic Rievaulx or beach-combing at Hayburn Wyke – where do you want to explore today?
