Howsham Mill is a restored Gothic Georgian watermill, situated on a wooded island in the River Derwent. It is powered by renewable energy from their own Archimedes screw turbine and waterwheel.
Howsham Mill offers a programme of art and craft events, including basket making, mosaics, stone carving and green woodworking, as well as providing art activities for pre-arranged groups.
