Public Bridleway 200 Silpho & Public Bridleway 703 Hackness (The Windings)

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended)
The North York Moors National Park Authority has made an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parishes of Silpho & Hackness in the county of North Yorkshire:
Public Bridleway 200 Silpho: (A-B)
No pedestrian, cyclist or horse-rider shall proceed along this bridleway commencing on the side of the C207 road at Grid Reference SE
Public Bridleway 703 Hackness: (B-C)
No pedestrian, cyclist or horse-rider shall proceed along this bridleway commencing on the parish boundary at Grid Reference SE
There is NO alternative route.
The Order is necessary to allow for fallen trees to be cleared and the washed-out surface to be repaired.
The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs.
By approval of the Secretary of State for Transport on the 11 February 2026 to an extension (ref: TTRO/Y&H/13327), the Order shall continue in force until 11 September 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
