Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended)
The North York Moors National Park Authority has made an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parish of Hinderwell in the Borough of Scarborough:
Public Footpath 33 – Hinderwell:
No pedestrian shall proceed along part of this footpath commencing at Norm’s Bench at Grid Reference NZ
Alternative Route:
There is no alternative route down to the huts.
The Order is necessary for the safety of the public due to the unsafe footpath and to allow for repair works to be undertaken to create a new footpath.
The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs.
By approval of the Secretary of State for Transport on the 9 February 2024 to an extension (ref: TTRO/11275), the Order shall continue in force until 11 February 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
