Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended)
The North York Moors National Park Authority made an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the Parish of Danby in the Borough of Scarborough:
Public Footpath 43 Roxby:
No pedestrian shall proceed along part of this footpath commencing at Grid Reference NZ
Alternative Route –
Public Footpath 41 Roxby:
Pedestrians can proceed along an alternative route, commencing at Grid Reference NZ
The Order is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances that could affect the repair works, in particular adverse weather and high-water levels.
The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs.
By approval of the Secretary of State for Transport on the 20th April 2026 to an extension (ref: TTRO/12700), the Order shall continue in force until 29th April 2027 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
