The Local Development Scheme (LDS)
The Local Development Scheme sets out a three-year programme of work for the production of documents that will make up the Local Development Framework for the National Park.
It reviews progress and revises the timescales for each document based on the assessment in the Annual Monitoring Report, which monitors the progress made towards the timescales that are set out in the Local Development Scheme.
A revised Local Development Scheme was adopted by the Authority in July 2018 for a programme of work covering the period 2017-35.

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)
The most recent Authority's Statement of Community Involvement was adopted by Planning Committee on 13 July 2023. The Statement sets out how we will consult and involve people when consulting on planning application and when preparing planning policy documents.
