Nestled between Teesside and the National Park, Guisborough Forest is home to some of the most dramatic scenery in the North York Moors and gives spectacular 360º views over Roseberry Topping, Teesside and Hartlepool and the dramatic coastline which links Teesside and the North East to Yorkshire.

Guisborough Forest is a beautiful space to unplug from the day-to-day and plug into nature at its finest. Boasting a serene cycling trail, play areas and superb walking trails for relaxing, connecting to nature and getting lost in the trees, this forest has something for everyone.

Guisborough Forest offers a range of activities as part of its Feel Good in the Forest programme. These activities are free to take part in and include optional time at the end for refreshments and socialising. You can self-refer to the project or be referred by a support organisation or worker.

Guisborough Forest has a large car park. There are no designated accessible parking spaces. Parking is charged by the hour.

Guisborough Forest provides a range of facilities to offer you a fantastic day out

Café

Guisborough Visitor Centre has an excellent café with both hot and cold food options, as well as ice cream, hot and cold drinks and a daily selection of cakes and goodies.

Car parking

Guisborough Forest has a large car park near Pinchinthorpe. There are no designated accessible parking spaces. Parking is managed by Redcar and Cleveland Council.

Children's trails/adventure playground

Guisborough Forest boasts a huge playground and ponds – perfect for those little leg adventures!

Toilets and baby changing facilities

At the Visitor Centre. Accessible toilets available.

Dogs are welcome throughout the sight. Visitors are asked to clean-up after their dog and keep them under close supervision.
