The National Park has been here waiting for you and we're delighted to give you a warm welcome to our big open spaces. Before you head out of the door, make sure you Know Before You Go and plan your trip carefully. We've ideas on where to go and we’ve pulled together a map giving you the latest information on which attractions and activity providers are open in the North York Moors area.

From 3 October, different restrictions apply to those living in Middlesbrough and surrounding area to the north west of the National Park, please check for the most up-to-date information and a map of the area affected. You should minimise non-essential travel when travelling into, within and out of the affected local areas.

If you are thinking of visiting, please follow our guidelines for accessing the National Park responsibly.

Read on for ideas for great days out, things to do, and holidays, from short breaks to longer stays, for you to enjoy in this part of Yorkshire.
