Cleveland Fibre Arts

Cleveland Fibre Arts was established in the early 1990s and consists of about 30 fibre artists – all women who live in the North York Moors and East Cleveland area. They meet monthly to share knowledge and skills, and strive to keep alive a number of traditional rural crafts through demonstrations and exhibitions.
Drawing their inspiration from the countryside and coast of the North York Moors, they specialise in working with fibres and textiles, using a wide range of techniques, both ancient and modern. They create individually handcrafted jewellery, quilts, rugs, pictures, scarves and much more.
