Due to COVID-19, this section of the website may not have the latest updates regarding externally-run events. We will make changes as soon as we are made aware of them.
The North York Moors National Park Authority has cancelled all ticketed events that were planned to take place until 30 September 2020. Our guided walks programme has been cancelled for 2020 and will return later in 2021. If an event you are due to attend is not run by the National Park Authority, please contact the event organiser directly.
Both Sutton Bank National Park Centre and The Moors National Park Centre have family treasure hunts, which change fortnightly, and plenty of fun educational activities for children running throughout summer. Drop in any time to find out more and pick up your trail.
The National Park has been here waiting for you and now that restrictions are relaxing, when you're ready to return, we'll be delighted to give you a warm welcome back to our big open spaces. We've also made life easier and mapped all the businesses who've joined August's Eat Out to Help Out scheme in and around the North York Moors.
If you are thinking of visiting the North York Moors, please follow our guidelines for accessing the National Park responsibly.
With a packed year-round programme of festivals, music, theatre, regattas, food and drink, and country shows to more energetic fell running, walking and cycling events, you'll find something to suit all tastes and ages here in the North York Moors.
We also organise our own jam-packed calendar of events throughout the year, including kid's activities, guided walks, family festivals, exhibitions and more. You can book a place on many of our events, workshops and guided walks online too.
